The Oakland A’s sign Keith Foulke

The A’s have signed 35-year old righty Keith Foulke to a minor league contract. Foulke missed all of last season with a sore right elbow and he last pitched in the majors in 2006 with the Red Sox. Foulke has pitched in 588 games (8 starts) in his major league career and he is 41-34 with 190 saves, a 3.30 ERA and a 1.07 WHIP. This was a nice low risk/high reward signing for the A’s who are going to be running on the cheap this season.
